Summary:

CSG offers a robust summer internship program that provides meaningful work assignments and projects that immerse students in CSG's culture. The internship is designed to provide practical work experience highlighting what an individual would do in a similar full-time role with the ability to make a business impact.

Position Details:

As part of the Advanced Convergent Platform (ACP) internship program candidates will identify, develop, and execute software development tasks, including developing scripts, implementing code, and developing automated tests in C# and/or Java language. You will work closely with senior team members to gain hands-on experience in modern software development techniques and methodologies.

The program will offer you the opportunity to gain exposure to the diverse and complex customer care and billing applications utilizing both legacy and next generation languages, tools, and platforms. The work and methodologies followed by our teams and enhanced by this position is essential to the adoption and success of DevOps methodologies as well as enabling our customers to succeed.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Must possess a desire to learn, a drive to improve and a natural curiosity about how things work and why things are done in a certain way.
  • Develop and execute code and tests in an agile environment.
  • Identify development and execution opportunities (code, tests, methodologies).
  • Communicate with both technical and non-technical groups on a regular basis to pass along important information and to ensure the design and implementation details conform to client specified guidelines.
  • Demonstrable technical problem-solving skills.
  • Document and process defect, resolution, and workaround records.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills at the business and technical levels
  • Requires a strong work ethic, a commitment to excellent customer service and teamwork, and the ability to integrate rapidly with an existing team.
  • Ability to work full-time out of the Omaha office from June- August

Education:

  • Students currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with an anticipated graduation date in 2022 or 2023
