Position Details:

CSG is hiring for a Software Development Engineert-II to join our Payment Manager team. This product is used by our clients for processing payments in real time or scheduled as recurring or future dated. This position is responsible for level two support and delivery of software and services-based solutions that enable our clients to accurately capture, manage, generate and optimize revenue, strengthen customer relationships and exploit emerging opportunities in highly complex, transformation market environments. Additional responsibilities include the review, analysis and evaluation of specified suite of products/applications.This job is responsible for designing, developing/configuring, unit testing, debugging and troubleshooting relatively complex software or enhancements to software, related to implementation of company software products.  Where required by the project, may also be responsible for supporting delivery and installation of software.  Ability to work within a cross functional Agile team to develop new components in a highly iterative fashion. Close collaboration with Product Owner, Scrum Master and other team members.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Participate in full life cycle C# software development codes or configures software functionality according to functional specifications that could include testing and debugging
  • Design and implement custom components on top of CSG’s core product including integrations with third party systems via web services (MVC, JSON, WCF)
  • Supports system and solution integration testing, user acceptance testing and provides timely resolutions to problems encountered.
  • Participates in code reviews, design reviews, or other forms of team quality procedures.
  • Assists in Release Management, Configuration Management, Build Management and Ticket Management as required
  • Work effectively with client support and implementation consultants to resolve application issues.
  • Test and deploy new functionality and fixes to both internal and production applications.
  • Maintain Windows and Server Application software.
  • Conduct system maintenance and monitoring to ensure adherence to contracted service level agreements as well as ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering MIS or a technically related field or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years working in IT industry or equivalent.
  • Knowledge / Experience with C#, .NET, MVC, MS SQL Server, and Web Services (MVC, WCF and JSON preferred).
  • Familiar with JSON, IIS and ASP.NET is a plus.
  • General systems knowledge (i.e. Windows Server 2008. Familiarity with client server Architecture, web services (IIS/.Net) and database systems.

Preference

  • Working Knowledge working in an Agile and Scrum Environment. 
  • Working knowledge of Windows; understanding of the available system utilities and/or logs to support troubleshooting.
