Position Pay Range:

This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to geographical location and experience.

$91,385.00-$146,216.00

Summary:

The Product Owner II is the Feature authority for their team(s). The Product Owner II works closely with internal stakeholders such as Senior Product Owners, Product Management or Client Services, as well as external stakeholders, to understand the Feature Acceptance Criteria and ensure the overall implementation provides the intended value. They are responsible for defining individual Stories based on the Feature Acceptance Criteria and for prioritizing team’s general backlog.

Position Details:

We’re hiring for a Product Owner to join an existing team who is paving the way for needed technological and functional advancements in the Cable Industry. Our client roster includes some of the biggest names in the Cable Industry.

The ideal candidate can quickly grasp highly complex requests and craft a creative, marketable, and performant approach that effectively addresses the request.  We’re seeking candidates who are innately curious and strive to understand the details behind the bigger picture.   They have a strong passion for technology and a desire to continue learning at every opportunity.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Research industry trends, technical publications, and gathers internal feedback to influence the direction of the product.
  • Collaborates with Product Management and clients to prioritize the roadmap and champions the features which will provide the most value.
  • Collaborates with Scrum Master, other Product owners and Release train engineer to ensure impact-free implementation.
  • Stays well informed about our clients’ business initiatives to conceptualize features that achieve their objectives.
  • Consolidates requests, designs, and technical research to create well-defined and well documented user stories.
  • Offers guidance to the team during execution and holds accountability for the overall solution.
  • Works with internal/external project teams to ensure a smooth consumption of the solution.
  • Understands our clients’ use of the product to deliver detailed communication and presentations on the value of various features.
  • Builds working relationships with clients, continuously striving to improve the business relationship.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment and managing iteration-level deliverables.
  • Able to demonstrate an ability to learn from challenges and apply continuous improvement as an individual as well as with the team and Product Owner process as a whole.
  • Good understanding of technologies including .Net/C#, web services and Automation tools.
  • Track record of successful delivery of medium and large scale software development projects to production.
  • Ability to document both technical details such as data flow diagrams or system integrations as well as document functional requirements in terms of user acceptance criteria.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time domestically.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field.
