What does a great Sr. Application Analyst UX/UI do?


As a Sr. Application Analyst you will be responsible for taking the business vision for at least one product or feature area and converting this business vision into system functionality. This includes all development tasks; requirements definition, development analysis, functionality design, coding, testing, integration, documentation and release.

This role will provide the ability to positively impact clients and their customers by developing functional, visually appealing websites that promote and grow our online banking services. Will work independently and with other creative designers and developers to craft professional websites used by hundreds of online banking customers. As a Sr. Application Analyst, you can look forward to\:


Working closely with in-house web designers/architects and customers in the financial services industry to develop, implement, and maintain custom designed Government Solutions web/mobile applications. Designing and maintaining sites using HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other programming tools to follow customer branding standards. Demonstrable experience in developing responsive/adaptive websites

  • Builds enhancements to websites based upon customer needs, fixes and repairs display or functionality issues, and ensures websites are accessible from a variety of different browser environments.
  • Works with third-party providers to include additional approved features to websites to enhance user experience.
  • Performs end user testing to ensure the user experience is consistent in all supported web browsers.
  • Plays a key role in ensuring that all sites are coded accurately and deployed on time. Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple projects, and work well in a team environment is a requirement.
  • Performs other duties as required.
  • Provide feedback on planned product release and ensure the planned features for the current release are taken on respecting technical dependencies
  • Assist in identifying and implementing designs and usability practices that help increase customer productivity and happiness
  • Review user interface designs and changes made to the product
  • Handle performance issues in production purposefully by coordinating group handling of production infrastructure, tools and practices to monitor production performance

Basic Qualifications\:
  • 6+ yrs of related IT experience
  •  HTML/XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript web development is required
  • Experience with ASP & MS Web Developer, Visual Studio & Visual Studio code tools
  • Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Experience with XML, JSON & Web Services

Preferred Qualifications\:

  • Experience in front-end web development for commercial and retail websites
  • Experience working in and with global teams
  • Familiar with Agile sprints and frameworks
